New single out now!

Finally the CDR single "Meantime" is released! Glittery gold paper and lovely design by our own drummer. Go get your own copy at Fraction Discs!

We've got some other exciting news; we will play in Lund on 27/4, at the club Indie Incite. AND we're happy to announce that we've found a new guitarist in Pierre, who has put on fantastic gigs in the past in Göteborg, and in Jönköping with his club Don't Tell Me That! So Liechtenstein is now officially a quintet! : )

New CD-R single out soon on Drill Building

Exciting news: we will release another CD-R single on Drill Building, this time one song from our upcoming album, "Meantime", and one old song (actually one of the oldest Liechtenstein songs!), "We Can Learn From History". More info coming very soon!

A small update...

We've been quiet for a while, but we can assure you, we are working on new songs. In fact, our second album will be released some time during this spring. Maybe in March. Ten new tracks, and hopefully a release on both LP and CD. We'll see. Also, rumour has it that we've got plans for a new video. It's true. So keep your eyes open. New 7" single to be released this spring


Hello! We're back from our European tour and we want to thank everyone who showed up at our gigs in France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Germany. We had a fantastic time!

We will release a new 7" single on Fraction Discs this spring. The tracks are: "I've Got A Passion For Water", "Spending Time With You" and "On The Tram". We are greatly looking forward to this!

PS. If you live in Gothenburg, we're playing at Svanen (Jazzhuset) on 11th February.

The Gotland Sessions + New bass player!

We have some news for you, both good and bad. The bad news is that our lovely bass player, Naemi, has decided to leave the band due to lack of time. She will be greatly missed.
The good news is that we found a new bass player in Ulrika!! Check out her marvellous stuff at www.compute.se.

We've been to Elin's studio on Gotland for a few days to record some new songs and we are very happy with the result. You can have a look at the photos on our Myspace page.

We will play two live shows in the near future, one on August 27 in Göteborg, and one on September 12 in Stockholm.

Lyrics, lyrics, lyrics...

All around the world, on blogs, radio stations and in magazines, there is an ongoing debate about the lyrics to the Liechtenstein songs. Or, rather, the absence of lyrics, since people can't tell what we're singing. For instance, there has been talk about leaving cats on stoves, and we surely don't want to be accused of encouraging people to cook their cats (no matter how much we adore Cats On Fire). Therefore, we've decided to post all our lyrics on our site. So now you can have a listen again, and hopefully your understanding of the songs will reach a new level.
